How do I work an oscilloscope?

I'm having some trouble trying to figure out how to get my oscilloscope to work and to show me my wave observations. It's for a school science fair project that's due really soon, so if someone knows how to work a LBO-310A model, PLEASE send me an e-mail! Thanks!
