Sorry for the late response. As I said, please e-mail directly. I only check this board every few months. Off hand, it sounds like you need to do a reinstall. I'd guess grabbing the latest version and reinstalling it would fix the issue.

Your paths may be messed up: it sounds like it's not finding the subprogram to calculate finger positions for the chords to me. If you do reinstall, do a real uninstall and then make sure the directory is truly removed manually. Then install the new version.

: i too am having problems with the chord generator. when it starts up, it's ok, but when i put a new queerie in, the chord box goes blank, and no new chord frets come up.
: I had this program before i had to zap my hardrive, and the old one worked well, love the progam. Please help. Ian.
