BULLs**t!!!
The program does not such thing.
I've had it for years.
It's getting dated, it has a couple of annoying bugs. But otherwise it ROCKS.
I repeat, no scanning of hardrives.
(Look at your hardrive light ya moron.)
It does "sometimes" send out info on songs.
You will see it appear in the lower left corner.
It is called "privacy report"
This is simply keeping track of your browsing habits when you look up songs. If you don't want that. Get a software firewall and block it.
Simple.

: The development company has no privacy policy, and the founder has openly admitted that the program will scan your hard drive and send information back home. The information is saved by the developer purportedly to help defend against piracy. After many posts on the developer's help board, the following resolution was made: JimH said: >>If you aren't cracking our software, you don't need to worry. Jim didn't go further; he choose to instead say: >> Sorry, Nila, b
ut, for obvious reasons, I am not going to say more. More directly, after detailing my concerns to Jim, I received the following reply: JimH: "I hope you will appreciate that we make decisions that are difficult, and that you will not always agree with them." ==================================== If you want to use this program, please understand the following: 1. The developer admitted to searching your hard drive for information. 2. The developer openly admitted to receiving and saving such reports. 3. The developer has NO PRIVACY POLICY. 4. You had better take the appropriate action to defend against this nosy, meddlesome activity.
