: I haven't used WIDI, but I have converted many MIDI files to WAV format. Typically I will play the midi file with my MIDI editing software (Cakewalk) and record it by simultaneously running my WAV editing software (Soundforge XP) both came free with my sound card. The results are as good as the sound card is capable.
