Often, small software manufacturers don't take all considerations into account when designing software to run in the Windows format. An easy way around many install problems, is to install software while in "safe mode" which is really a basic, cut down version of the O.S. running mainly to do diagnostic testing of your system software. Installing this way ensures that other hardware or software non-native to Windows does not hinder the installation process. Good luck!
