: I would like to stream audio from my website. I can create the audio file, but am confused as to how to link the file for streaming. I used the directions on the MS site, but I think a windows server is needed for that - am I right? How can I stream without a windows server?
: Bill
Good news is you can:
For example create your sessions (could be screen grabing or video) but select live broadcast, once this is taking place simple go to a remote machine (assuming you are connected to the internet), and then at the remote machine/machines type the following:
mms://YourMachineAddress
and this will bring up the media player.
The downside:
There is a 10 second delay in the broadcast, I hope this is of some help regards John Proctor
