OK...I would hope you have had some success by now...but..if you haven't........
Do you mean actual CDG discs...or CDG/mp3 files on your Laptop?
If you mean "discs"....email me you burner mak,brand & model no...and I will see what we can use....if it isn't compatible with any programs....I will let you know...then I suggest you buy a Plextor CDRW drive...they are compatible with nearly all CDG programs...and you can get them at a decent price now....
