1st of all let me say that I truly love Reaper! I have been looking for a decent DAW ever since Adobe took over Cool Edit Pro. The price is amazing compared to Audition, Sonar and Cubase. It is easy to use and intuitive to learn.
As for Julians problem I have 3 possible solutions.
1. Update your windows media player & get new codecs...
2.Use ASIO audio drivers (if your soundcard doesn't provide ASIO then get the freeware program "ASIO4ALL" available on this site...)
3. Try playing back your rendered files on a different media player (Winamp?)- also remember that Reaper is fairly new but they do offer a good support system from their website. Also if your using windows98 or millenium you most definitely need to update your audio codecs or get XP.
By the way Reaper works great in Vista..Good Job Cuckos!
