I find that they work, and sound good. Not always the best, but usually usable, and always sound at least good. I especially like the stereo generator, flanger, I have found graphic bugs on 98SE and XP, but it depends on host AND video driver, and the bugs don't cause crashes - they just look funny.
You get VST and DX versions, the installer I downloaded from the semi-defunct Digilogue site includes three more DX plugs, a vocoder, an overdrive-type distortion, and a "vintage" flanger.
