Best Multi-Ttracks

I used to swear by Cool Edit Pro, then it was bought out by Adobe, and re-christened "Adobe Audition". Although they have made no major changes, it does take a little getting used to, and isn't cheap either. You could give "N-Track studio" a try. I used this a few times, and quite liked it. I'd advise you to download some of this stuff from here, and see what suits you, as some of the freeware is often as good as high end stuff - although it is often pretty bad too!
Trial and error my friend.
