Z, I hooked up my electric

Z, I hooked up my electric guitar to my laptop's USB port: guitar > amp > Behringer U-Control UCA202 > USB port on laptop. (I had to wait till today to get a 1/4-to-RCA adaptor from Radio Shack for the guitar cable to connect to the RCA plugs on the Behringer.) I "recorded" a small sample on Kristal. (At least , the Waver bar showed something going on.) However, when I try playing it back, nothing happens. I hit "play" on the "tranpsort" bar, but nothing happens. The green light shows up, but the waver bar does nothing. I can't seem to get it to rewind, either. I have tried hitting all the commands in the waver selections and on the transport bar, but nothing seems to help. What am I missing? I know that when you tell me what I need to do, it will seem obvious. But right now, nothing seems obvious--except that I don't "get" this gizmo. Thanks! Art
