There is a mass of information on the S-series available from the S-Group website at http://www.generalconcepts.com/sgroup/
Their archives are well worth checking through - loads of useful information, and they include downloadable copies of most operating system and utility disks for all of the S-series samplers.
They also have the utilities needed to write these to floppy disk! I have managed to get my S-50 and S-550 up and running with the lates operating systems from this source.
