itunes has no download of 8.0 for windows 2000

Apple needs to get a download of iTunes for Windows 2000 users. This is simply ridiculous. I have purchased one of their products and have to get Windows XP or Vista to use it. Some people have what they have . Apple needs to be more acomodating.
