I had a similar issue. Fortunately, kjams has a neat feature that allows you to "reshuffle" the info contained in the track, so it displays as you prefer. Try right-clicking a track and selecting "Re-interpret names." Depending on how the track data is organized you may have more than a dozen options to tweak how the program reads the info. Fiddle around with the choices and you'll quickly find the one that suits you.
You may also select multiple tracks, but it's better to select multiples from the same album as different albums may sort their data differently and muddle your results.
Lastly, as this program is still in development, the feature is not perfect. However, I have found it to work in the vast majority of my imports. It's made a huge difference in my collection. Hope it helps!
