General Info

This year there were more than 1,400 exhibitors from 90 countries - and as always excitement was high with new musical instruments, and music software and related equipment, on show for the first time.

Winter NAMM 2012 was held at the Anaheim Convention Center (literally right across the road from Disneyland) from the 19th to the 22nd of January, 2012.

• 24 Jan 2012: Epiphone Ace Frehley "Budokan" Les Paul Custom Outfit - It seems KISS had a bit of a resurgence at Winter NAMM 2012 - not only did Paul Stanley have some Signature guitars released, but Ace Frehley also scored a signature Les Paul from Epiphone.

• 23 Jan 2012: Price announced at NAMM for the Nektar Panorama P4: A dedicated Controller Keyboard for Propellerhead Reason

• 23 Jan 2012: Akai MPC Fly - iPad 2 Controller, Docking Station, and Software - Akai have been working on a range of new MPC offerings, and this one created a lot of vibe at the NAMM Show.

• 21 Jan 2012: Peavey Announce The AT-200 - an Auto-Tune Guitar. - Peavey have teamed up with Antares to bring you the AT-200, a guitar that simulates tuning, but not everyone thinks this is a good idea.
