My first radio interview on music software
I had my first radio interview this morning. It was on music software. Thankfully I was quite prepared for it, but just like a first date, I was still damn nervous. At least I didn't have to worry about looking like crap or making sure I didn't have bad breath.
We mainly covered the advantages of music learning technology. Stuff like the options users have, why it can be more effective than say a book, some of the software available to them (in particular StarPlay). Definitely a topic of interest to a lot of new comers, teachers and also more advanced musicians who aren't familiar with the software advantages available to them.
We also briefly discussed other music software, such as Sibelius, Band-in-a-Box, Jamstix, Amplitube, Autotune, plus a few others.
Considering a lot of the audience may not be as familiar with the different things they can do with computers and music, I hope they will see how the Internet and software can really help them create some cool stuff or help them learn practically any instrument.
