Which music production software would you choose if stuck on a deserted island?
I've just finished reading Richard Laymon's novel, Island, and it got me thinking about the age-old question: what one item would I want with me if I was shipwrecked on a deserted island. To be honest that's not really too hard for me if I can pick from anything, but if I had to select from a more specific group of items, say music software, the decision becomes a lot more difficult.
Picking just one music program could be a little tricky, so to make it easier we'll narrow it down.
If you could select one software-based music production suite, what would it be?
Logic? Pro Tools? Cubase? Sonar? Traktion? Orion? Maybe Reaper? How about Podium? SAWStudio? It probably costs more than the island your stranded on. Possibly Ardour if your using Linux. The list goes on.
Let's assume we already have a computer with us (Mac, Windows or Linux), your favorite instrument and this deserted island has electricity.
Put your answer in the comments field below. It's easy and instant to post, and your response helps new users decide what software is worth checking out.
You can download production suites here.

No Brainer. Cubase.
The VSTi standard is so powerful and so well supported by so many developers these days that you're bound to have an emergency deserted island rescue plug-in in there somewhere and you're saved immediately!
Go on, prove me wrong...

Tracktion is my bag. It's stoopid easy to use and there is no muss, no fuss when you are ready to work.

I spent my life mastering my instrument not playing with software so I'll stick with my simple "a retarded monkey could figure it out" adobe audition 1.5! It may not have all the fancy bells and whistles the other apps have, but I think I can create enough of my own with the (hopefully)natural surroundings and have a lot more fun doing it!!!
...and no I'm not a hippie, I grew up on Slayer!!!
remember 4 tracks?

Reason is pretty hip, but a random CD and SoundHack would be great!!!
wait, does anybody use SoundHack anymore? I really hope so.

Logic - imagine being stuck on a island with a Windows PC that couldn't get security updates.
