Digidesign ships ICON D-Control ES
Digidesign has announced that is has begun dealer shipments of its new, large-format ICON D-Control ES. Previewed for the first time at the AES (Audio Engineering Society) convention in New York last month, the ICON D-Control ES is the latest member of the award-winning ICON worksurface family, taking its place alongside the original ICON D-Control and medium-format ICON D-Command.

The new ICON D-Control ES is stylishly enhanced with a darker color scheme that blends easily with today's modern studio décor, as well as updated, higher contrast text and graphics for improved legibility in low light and a new switch LED color layout for improved ergonomics.
Like existing ICON systems, the new ICON D-Control ES boasts the same unparalleled integration with industry-standard Pro Tools HD software, including complete recall of all session parameters, routing, and plug-ins. Digidesign will continue to offer the award-winning D-Control in its original blue color scheme, and with the addition of the D-Control ES, users will be able to choose between two aesthetic options that both offer the full range of ICON features.
