Digital 1 Media has announced the release of PCDJ VJ (Video Jockey), a new software package for Disc Jockeys that allows them to professionally mix Audio, Music Videos, and Karaoke files. PCDJ VJ is a high-performance PC mixing software that represents the direction in which many DJ's and entertainers perform today, offering much more then just basic music mixing.

A few of the key features of this new innovative product are as follows. Ultra-accurate automatic beat-mixing, so audio tracks and videos will always stay in sync, allowing the DJ to focus on the other aspects of their mix. With frame accurate cuing and no-latency playback, users have the most realistic feel possible. PCDJ VJ offers many choices for application control: Keyboard & Mouse, any MIDI controller, Time-code, or a USB device such as the PCDJ DAC-3. Seamless looping, scratching of all supported formats, beat-locked effects, a live camera feed, master tempo, and scrolling text are other items VJ offers that have been highly requested from the DJ community.

PCDJ VJ offers support for many popular formats; these include MP3, MP3Pro, MP4, M4A, WAV, AIFF, CDA, WMA, ASF, OGG, and iTunes ACC (non-DRM), DVD, VOB, DIVX, MPG (1,2,4), AVI, WMV, and Karaoke (CDG - MP3+G), files.

Supported operating systems are Windows XP/Vista. PCDJ VJ ships with two user options, PCDJ VJ LE (light edition - stand alone) and PCDJ VJ TC (time-code - ships with two pieces of time-coded vinyl and two time-coded CD's).
