PreSonus changes FirePod name to FP10
PreSonus is changing the name of the FirePod to the FP10.The FP10 is the same rock-solid, award-winning 10x10 FireWire recording system as the FirePod combining eight high-quality PreSonus XMAX microphone preamplifiers, 24-bit/96k sample rate conversion and the PreSonus Pro Pak Software Suite featuring Steinberg's Cubase LE 48-track recording software, over 25 real-time plug-in effects and more than 2 GB of drum loops and samples for music recording and production.

To make the transition to the new FP10 name in retail locations, PreSonus has lowered the price of the FirePod to $399 (estimated street price in the USA) while supplies last.

- 8 Class A XMAX Preamplifiers
- zero-latency analog mix control
- 2 instrument inputs on channels 1 and 2
- MIDI and SPDIF Input/Output

The FP10 and the FirePod are exactly thesame, so they work fine together.

I would like to know if there may be some problems with the connection of a FP10 with a Firepod to make a 16 in recording system. I have a Firepod, and now I want to upgrade my studio with another one, but I don't know if the connection of the two types of Presonus will be correct working or not.
If someone knows, please mail me at martinoberia@alice.it
Thanks!
