Symetrix now shipping the Automix Matrix 780
Symetrix has began shipping the Automix Matrix 780 September 30th. The Automix Matrix 780 provides twelve-channels of auto mixing with eight sub-mixes and comprehensive DSP, innovatively controlled by one of the easiest to use, user interfaces in the industry. The Automix Matrix 780 was designed for applications in courtrooms, government chambers, corporate boardrooms and houses of worship.
The automixer features filters, equalization, compression and feedback elimination into gating or gain-sharing auto-mixing, with full control over NOM (number of open microphone) counts and priorities. Four line inputs include filters and equalization with automatic gain control (AGC) for devices such as CD and DVD players, TV audio or an additional mixer. Sub-group or mix-minus mixes may be dedicated to specific tasks such as recording, archiving or broadcast, and may be routed to up to eight unique locations, each with EQ and limiting.
The Automix Matrix 780 is set up easily and efficiently using a straightforward Windows(r) interface connected over Ethernet. The network-ready system includes a user-friendly, wizard-driven software setup and a GUI comprising just two panels, ensuring that no parameter is ever more than two clicks away.

The unit's interactive front panel provides convenient access to vital system parameters or may be custom programmed for user and technician control. The 780 is also compatible with Symetrix RS-485-based Adaptive Remote Control (ARC) Wall Panels, offering additional user control options. Open Collector outputs can drive LEDs directly for status updates or integrate with external logic and automation systems.
