EarBuzz.com announces new site

earBuzz.com has announced a complete solution for music artists as the first and only music store to offer both digital downloads and CD sales with 100% of the purchase price paid back to artists.

The move makes earBuzz.com the most generous online music site on the net, providing artists more income than, in most cases, artists' own sites. The business model is unique to the industry. "We want to help artists gain more control of their careers and be a strong option for their sales strategies. Artists have to pay financial institutions for sales on their own sites and stores are taking up to 80%," states founder, Don Kimenker. "Now, artists get it all while music buyers can shop at earBuzz.com knowing their purchase goes farther to support them."

Music buyers have their choice of a shipped CD, a non-DRM 256 bit AAC download or an optimized encoded mp3 download (both of the highest quality) -- all of which play in modern music players. The download price is 89 cents for either AAC or mp3. Artist's membership fee is $2 per month with a one-time processing charge of $25 per CD title. earBuzz.com encodes its own music and does not distribute artists' music to any other resellers, making the quality of tracks consistent and membership non-exclusive.

earBuzz.com is the home to over 1,000 artists including 5-time Grammy-nominated pianist and composer, Suzanne Ciani; Rolling Stones' keyboardist, Chuck Leavell; E! Entertainment's "Paradise City" featured rock band, Adelitas Way, and some of the most talented artists you've never heard. An innovative earBuzz record label will also begin this summer. earBuzz.com launched near San Francisco, California on Independence Day, July 4th, 1999.
