PreSonus announces NAMM artist demonstrations

PreSonus Audio Electronics will be featuring live demonstrations using the FireStudio Project 10x10 firewire recording system at The NAMM Show in Anaheim this week in Hall A booth 6330. The FireStudio Project will be recording each performance, supplying individual monitor mixes, and handing front of house mixing all from within a windows-based computer. Check out the demo schedule:

Richie Gajate Garcia – Friday and Saturday, 3pm
Drummer and Percussionist Richie Gajate Garcia has been voted to be one of the top Latin percussionists in the Modern Drummer Reader’s poll as well as one of the top Rock percussionists in DRUM! Magazine. Richie will be appearing at the PreSonus booth with his band on Friday, January 18th and Saturday, January 19th at 3:00pm.

Martin Atkins – Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, 2pm
Martin Atkins has made himself well-known in the music world as a drummer, producer, label ownder, and music business entrepreneur. His book “TOUR:SMART” is a guide for touring musicians with advice and tips on getting the most out of touring while avoiding common mistakes. Martin will be giving clinics in the PreSonus booth at NAMM on Thursday, January 17th, Saturday, January 19th, and Sunday, January 20th at 2:00pm.

Robert Conti – Sunday, 3pm
Robert Conti has been recognized as one of the leading jazz guitar players and educators around. Robert will be featured as an Artist demo at the PreSonus booth on Sunday at 3:00pm.

Craig Anderton – Friday, 12pm
Electronica artist extraordinaire and computer recording guru Craig Anderton will be remixing Pink Floyd's "Interstellar Overdrive”, using the PreSonus FireBox as his computer audio interface.

Ronny North – Thursday at 1pm and Friday at 5pm
Ronny North’s signature brand of rock guitar instrumental music has gotten him featured on radio stations and on the stages of live venues all over the world. In 2006 Ronny was named Best Male Guitarists at the All Access Magazine Awards. Catch Ronny at the PreSonus booth on Thursday, January 17th at 1:00pm and Friday, January 18th at 12:00pm.

Randy Emata and Friends – Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 2pm
Keyboard player/producer Randy Emata will be featured at the PreSonus booth throughout the NAMM Show. Special guest artists including bass player Victor Little, guitarist Ricky Z, drummers Tony Moore and David Haynes, vocalists LB (Santana), Tony Lindsay (Santana), Claytoven (Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Elton John, and more), Conesha ‘Monet’ Owens (Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Eric Benet), rappers Collins ‘The Jack’ Peters and Anthony ‘One9Shangrili’ Peterson, and others will be featured in Randy’s performances throughout the week. Randy Emata and Friends will be playing Friday, January 18th, Saturday, January 19th and Sunday, January 20th at 2:00pm.

Derek Sherinian – Saturday, 5pm
Keyboardist Derek Sherinian has toured and recorded with Alice Cooper, KISS, Dream Theater, Billy Idol, and many others. Hear Derek’s keyboard skills for yourself on Saturday, January 19th at 5:00pm in the PreSonus booth.

Rahlo – Thursday at 3pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 11am
Hip-hop artist Rahlo has re-defined his genre by delivering new and progressive messages in his music. Rahlo will be featured at the PreSonus booth both solo and with musicians Jerry Henderson, Quamon Fowler, David Haynes, and Kendrick Marshall throughout the week of NAMM. Catch one of Rahlo’s demonstrations on Thursday, 11:00am and 3:00pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 11am.
