Roland sponsors Disc Makers 2007 Independent Music World Series

Roland has announced it is sponsoring Disc Makers’ Independent Music World Series for the second consecutive year. The IMWS contest gives bands and musicians across the country an opportunity to showcase their talent and compete for prizes, including an impressive array of Roland products.

The 2007 IMWS features showcases in San Francisco, New York, Nashville, and Austin and will award a huge Grand Prize at each show. Musician’s from all over the U.S. will be given the opportunity to perform in front of music industry VIPs and win the gear to build their own home recording studio, a 1,000 CD manufacturing package, showcases at major music conferences, cash money and much more.

This year, each of the four regional grand prize winners will receive a complete studio and production package including the Roland VS-2400CD Digital Studio Workstation and LCD monitor, the VS8F-3 expansion board, and a Roland Juno-G synthesizer.
