Stanton introduces For Life "Magalog"

Stanton has announced the launch of their new hybrid magazine-catalog that will feature the company's full product line, as well as a variety of DJ product and lifestyle oriented articles focused on artists, events, and music. Each issue of For Life will also feature a city guide written through the eyes of a "local," highlighting hotspots, hangouts, and other useful info about the town.

The inaugural issue of For Life offers insight into popular music town Seattle, Washington, which also happens to be home base for 3dB Creative, who executed the creative design for Stanton's magalog project. Erik Hanson, Creative Director for 3dB, said, "We went to the streets of our hometown, Seattle, Washington, and talked to the real working DJs and urban tastemakers, to make For Life very legit. I think this legitimacy comes across in the end results—and the strong reception Stanton is getting from their customers, dealers and partners worldwide."

The For Life magalog will be issued approximately 2-3 times per year both in print and online, and representatives of Stanton expect the project to be a great new resource for the brand and the DJ community. "This 'magalog' is something we have wanted to develop for some time, and now we're thrilled to see it come together", commented Stanton Marketing Manager Sarah Lombard. "By taking a less standard approach to the typical product catalog, For Life offers a much more interesting resource to our customers and provides them with a little more than they expect. We hope that our community will embrace this project and eventually become a part of it. Having as many of our DJs as possible become involved is the ultimate goal."

A printed version of For Life will be distributed at select retail locations and at various events worldwide, and a soft version will be distributed via email to Stanton's database of DJs and customers. The first issue is available now for download, and e-subscription opt-in can be found online.
