Virtual vocalist duels with aussie rocker

PowerFX has just created a short video duel, pitting “Kitto”, the reigning rock queen from the outback of Australia against their own virtual vocalist, “Sweet Ann”. Kitto, who hails from Darwin in the Northern Territory, has 5 solo records released under her name and was selected by Big Brother and the Holding Company to tour with them as “Janis Joplin” for their european tour last year.

Sweet Ann is the recently released virtual vocalist from PowerFX and is the first Vocaloid 2 product release featuring Yamaha´s updated singing synthesis engine that allows you to type in words and notes into the Vocaloid 2 editor and have the “singer” sing them back.

Can the synthesized Cyberian ice queen from the north hold up against the real time OZ power of Kitto?
