Vienna Symphonic Library announces new upgrade paths and price increase in North America

Symphonic Library has announced that it will raise U.S. dollar prices to customers in North America by approximately 10% on May 15, 2008. The company will also replace their long-running VIP Upgrade program this summer. Upgrade discounts from Vienna's sample libraries to the Vienna Instruments Collections will expire on July 15, 2008, but new upgrade paths from the Vienna Special Editions to the upcoming new Single Instrument Downloads and to the "big" DVD Collections will give customers many flexible options to expand their orchestras, step by step, while enjoying considerable upgrade discounts. In addition, a special offer to receive free Extended Libraries is effective through July 15, 2008.

Euro-Dollar Price Adjustments

Vienna Symphonic Library's new prices will take effect on May 15, 2008. The price increase represents an effort by the company to restore equilibrium to international pricing for Vienna products, to avoid pricing conflicts that are potentially problematic for its worldwide team of distributors. The list of new U.S. dollar prices is available online at: http://vsl.co.at/, and on their North American distributor's website, http://www.ilio.com/ as of April 15, 2008.

Upgrade Paths from Sample Libraries to Vienna Instruments Collections to Expire on July 15, 2008

The Vienna Symphonic Library is replacing its long-running VIP upgrade paths with a new program. Through July 15, 2008, registered users of First Edition, Pro Edition and Horizon Series sample libraries will still enjoy discounts when upgrading to Vienna Instruments Collections. After July 15, 2008, new upgrade discounts from the Vienna Special Editions towards new Single Instrument Downloads and the "big" Vienna Instruments DVD Collections will be introduced and upgrade discounts from Vienna Symphonic Library sample libraries (First Edition, Pro Edition, Horizon Series) to Vienna Instruments Collections will no longer exist.

Free Extended Libraries April 15 - July 15, 2008

Customers who order and register Vienna Instruments DVD Collections (Standard Libraries) as shown below between April 15 and July 15, 2008, are entitled to receive up to four free Extended Libraries. They will get:

1 free Extended Library for ordering any 5 Vienna Instruments DVD Collections (Standard Libraries)

2 free Extended Libraries for ordering any 10 Vienna Instruments DVD Collections (Standard Libraries)

3 free Extended Libraries for ordering any 15 Vienna Instruments DVD Collections (Standard Libraries)
