SampleTank 2.5 update available

IK Multimedia has announced that SampleTank 2.5, a powerful update for the top-class sample workstation plug-in SampleTank 2, is now available. It includes many new features such as an enhanced built-in multi-effects system with send and master effects, the addition of a high-quality studio reverb, the ability to read all “Powered by SampleTank” instruments and more.

SampleTank 2.5 includes many new features such as:

• New effects section with SEND and MASTER effects. Built in SampleTank 2.5 is one of the most sophisticated effects routing system with high-quality effects, which enables you to produce more creatively while working more efficiently, by reducing the CPU usage when using the new send effects.

• Includes a high-quality reverb from the award-winning Classik Studio Reverb. This addition brings the overall list of available DSP effects in SampleTank 2.5 to a staggering number of 33 effects

• New effects structure, more powerful and flexible. The addition of several convenient features like the new Global Volume/Pan, Master Loop sync and the new selectable Portamento curves extends the capabilities of SampleTank while remaining the easiest professional workstation on the market

· New Global Volume/Pan – Makes it easier to mix this 16 part multi-timbral instrument all at once

· Master Loop sync – Convenient for synchronizing all of the loops loaded into the module

· New selectable Portamento curves - Allows for greater realism with a larger variety of instruments

SampleTank 2.5 is available for free as a downloadable update for all registered users of SampleTank L and XL. The new boxed version of SampleTank 2.5 XL costs $499/€419 and comes with 2DVDs with over 1,800 sounds, more than 6.5GB of samples, plus a bonus sound disk not previously included. SampleTank 2.5 is available through our network of dealers and distributors and in the IK Online Store.

Existing IK costumers can also take advantage of our Crossgrade for ALL policy, IK's upgrade/crossgrade program. Any customer who has a registered copy of any IK software, including versions bundled with 3rd party products, qualify to purchase the discounted upgrade/crossgrade versions of ANY other IK software.
