TC Electronic announces free UnWrap HD software update for System 6000
TC Electronic has announced the immediate availability of UnWrap HD. The free software upgrade offers existing System 6000 UnWrap users new possibilities when it comes to extracting dialog or enveloping sources from a stereo or LtRt mix, enabling better discrimination between foreground and background elements of a track.
UnWrap HD is a 48-bit precision algorithm capable of running at any sample rate between 32 and 96 kHz. Applications typically include film production, mastering and broadcast production for HDTV.

The new software version is backwards compatible with original UnWrap presets and is now available for free download by UnWrap license holders at TC Electronic’s website.
