Video showing new Direct Note Access in action
Here's a great video demonstrating Celemony's new Direct Note Access technology for Melodyne. Direct Note Access allows individual notes within polyphonic audio material to be identified and edited. This means Melodyne users get the same control over individual notes within chords as they would with pitch, timing, note lengths and other parameters of melodic notes.
Watch it below or here.
Celemony list a few examples of where it's going to come in handy:
- Tune a guitar after recording
- Correct harmony vocals that are out of tune, or fix their timing
- Turn major chords to minor (and vice versa0
- Switch tone scales
- Mute single notes
- Remix volume levels
– All after the performance is a lready taped
