The Munich-based company is the first German software manufacturer ever to be honored by the Recording Academy with its prestigious Technical Grammy

Celemony is the software company that introduced the program Melodyne ten years ago. This program offered a new musical approach to audio editing. After years of polishing and expansions, Melodyne is now enjoying wide acclaim from professional musicians and producers alike.

Here are some of what the big name artists had to say: Ultravox singer Midge Ure calls it “black magic”, The Who guitarist Pete Townshend regards the software as “a miracle”, Katy Perry producer Dr. Luke and multimedia visionary Peter Gabriel both love it, and jazz legend Herbie Hancock considers it a “must-have” for musicians.

Peter Neubäcker, Melodyne inventor and Celemony founder was quoted saying: "We are delighted by this great honor and very proud as a small Munich software house to be receiving such notable international recognition for our work"
