Korg Monomania Sound Contest: Win Monotribe and Monotron Prizes
Korg are promoting their Monotron analogue ribbon synthesizer and Monotribe analogue ribbon station with a cool contest which includes the first prize of a 24-karat Gold plated Monotribe.
Actually there are three competitions, and each category has a separate Grand Prize:
Monotron SFX - This is for making a 15 second sample of sound effects (SFX) on a Monotron - you're even allowed to MOD your Monotron. The Grand Prize is a 24-karat Gold plated Monotribe.
Monotron Music - Here too you're allowed to MOD your Monotron. You can submit an instrumental up to 2 minutes long using multiple Korg Monotrons, you're allowed to used the AUX IN to process outboard audio, and you can even use multitrack recording. The Grand Prize in this category is a Silver-plated Monotron DELAY.
Monotribe Music - You can submit a 2 minute or shorter instrumental created with the Korg Monotribe. Again you're allowed to MOD it, use AUX IN, and multitrack recording. The Grand Prize is a Silver-plated Monotron DUO.
