9 Soundware Releases Ax Subtractor Patches

Ax is a set of patches for the Subtractor synthesizer within Propellerhead Reason. The collection showcases the Reason Device which echoes the classic designs of analog synthesizers and fuses them with features ubiquitous in modern instruments.

The sound set is divided into 6 categories. “Bass”, “Lead”, “Pad”, and “Piano” (one-shot, tonal sounds) each contain 10 patches, “Drums” consists of 30 patches which cover all drum kit components, and “Inharmonic” is comprised of 30 patches which are further divided into two subcategories “Sustaining” and “Non-sustaining”.

The 0.4 MB download includes 100 .zyp files. Ax is available now for $24.99 at 9 Soundware

Featuring the voices of 8 different vocal artists with styles ranging from soulful accapella's, gangsta rap, crunk, club, RnB and everything in between.

They've included harmonies, backing vocals and even a few auto-tune licks for the T-Pain fans. From luscious lady licks to all out thug rhymes. Some of the lyrics are explicit so we advise an adult only audience. This sample pack contains vocal samples only, no backing tracks, drums or musical parts are included with this product. The backing tracks heard in the demo are purely for promotional purposes. Tempos range from 70 to 128 bpm.

Movie Dialogue Vol. 4 from Loopmasters

This is one of those ideas that I really like - takes all the hassle out of using those great one-liners in your mix. 759 separate Wav samples taken from original early Film Dialogue, all licensed for use under the new Creative Commons license agreement.

The vocal samples have been taken from old movies and public information films and are categorised in folders with names such as "Boy Meets Dog", "Chimps in Space", "Eissenhower", "NASA" and "Words to the Wise", “Perversion for Profit” and “Kennedy Nixon”. These samples are all 100% Authentic which means that whilst they have all been re-mastered, de-noised and de-clicked, they still retain artifacts from the original recordings, which we feel gives them a much more authentic sound!

Orchestral Pop V1 - Audio & MIDI Loops - Another release this week from Platinumloops

With 140 audio loops in three different formats (that's 420 audio files) and the full MIDI sequences, you can arrange, re-arrange, remix and replace any instrument with any virtual instrument that your DAW provides. Just drag and drop the MIDI files for each arrangement into a midi track in your DAW (Ableton, Logic, Cubase, Reason etc) and you'll see the raw midi sequences ready for you to play with. Not interested in MIDI? That's OK, just drag the audio loops on to your audio tracks and start putting together your arrangement.
