Line 6 has recently introduced the StageScape M20d, a touchscreen 12 input digital mixer.

Line 6 claims that StageScape M20d is the world's first smart mixer and for good reason, it reinvented the mixer workflow, and turned it into an intuitive process.

At the core of the new StageScape M20d is its touchscreen display panel, which gives you visual feedback and gives you intuitive control over the sound. It is designed to reduce setup time and simplify mixing tasks into easily understandable visual selections. Instead of the traditional mixer channel strip, the M20d's intuitive touchscreen control gives you a graphic display of the stage setup and uses icons to represent each performer or input.

When you plug-in a cable, it automatically senses what type of input or instrument is plugged in and will give a visual feedback which you can adjust. A single touch on a performer's icon gives access to all parameters that relates to the channel, from basic to deep effects editing. And the great thing about the controls is that their very easy to understand, the interface will give you preset options like punch, open, pump, deep, dark, bright, body and many more which can be adjusted to preference.

Lastly, there are also colour-coded encoders which provide immediate access to level control much like a traditional mixer. Bringing with it Massive DSP power, it can provide professional audio processing and effects on every channel including multi-band feedback suppression, and can even handle multi-channel live recording. You also get built-in presets that are ready to use for many types of venues and events. Another fun feature of the StageScape M20d is its capability to connect with an iPad for convenient remote controlling and sound testing.
