Turn Your LCD Monitor into a Multitouch Screen for Mac OS X

Previously only available on Windows - Now available for Macintosh

Users of iPad, iPhone and other touch screen devices, me included, are used to touching screens. So much so that we sometimes touch the screens of our regular LCD monitors as if they would respond.

The nice people at Music Computing probably experienced the same ordeal and decided that the regular LCD monitors should be turned into touch screens ASAP. And so they created the MotionCOMMAND.

MotionCommand is a frame add-on to regular monitors that turns them into a touch screen. Users can then multitouch their way through their favorite DAW or DJ software, on a regular LCD - Mac OS X desktop or portable.

The frame has a glass overlay, transmitters and receivers which send the signal to your Mac OSX via a USB cable. Users just need to attach the frame, run through the configuration, and they have an instant touch screen.

The MotionCOMMAND Frame for Max OS X is available in the following standard sizes: 32”, 42”, 55” and 65”, with custom sizes up to 100”.

Here is a video demonstration of the MotionCommand Frame:

Prices start at $199 - you can purchase them from the manufacturer Music Computing.
