Pioneer DDJ-Ergo-V Controller now supports Serato DJ Intro Software

Pioneer's DDJ-Ergo-V Controller with firmware version 1.10 is is now compatible with the Serato DJ Intro Software.

Pioneer’s DDJ-Ergo-V DJ Controller which is currently partnered with the “Virtual DJ Limited Edition” software by Atomix Productions, is now compatible with Serato’s “Serato DJ Intro” software. The updated version is expected to be available as a free software download within December of 2011.

The Serato DJ Intro Software is a simple two channel virtual mixer which is designed to match the hardware layout of DDJ-Ergo-V with its two players and two channel setup. The controller gives you an intuitive layout featuring the Hot Cue, effects and samplers. You can easily slide the keypad of your laptop under the controller for quick and easy viewing of the laptop screen.

The ability to integrate your laptop together with Serato DJ Intro's color coded waveform display makes for a good visual representation of your music giving you good visual feedback for adjustments and controls. All you need is a USB connection between your DDJ-Ergo-V and the computer with Serato DJ Intro software.

The Serato DJ Intro supports both Mac and Windows OS, and requires a computer a minimum of 1GB Ram. Other system requirements include Intel Core Duo and up for processor and a display resolution of 1024 x 768.
