Skanner XT utilizes a unique synthesizer architecture to create a wide variety of intense and cutting-edge sounds for contemporary electronic music production and sound design.

It has two oscillators that analyze a sample which at low frequencies produce a scratch type of sound. As it goes to higher frequencies, it is then shaped by the sample waveform, producing distinctive sounds from heavy and dirty bass to morphing soundscapes and organic pads.

NI synthesis mastermind Stephan Schmitt helped develop Scanner XT to have two interface views for different types of interaction.

Besides a simplified page with a preset morpher and four macro controls, a second view provides access to more detailed parameters in order to further explore the sonic potential of the instrument. You can also use the morph control to conveniently switch between eight different snapshots to produce unpredictably unique sounds.

You can use this software with the free Reaktor 5 player or the full Reaktor 5 software, it is also optimized for use with Maschine hardware.

You can avail of the Skanner XT for only $59, users of the previous free version Skanner can crossgrade for only $29.50.
