Behringer is now shipping their latest 1000-Watt active loud speakers - Eurolive B115D and Eurolive B115MP3.
They feature a 1000 watt Class-D power amp, 15" long-excursion driver, and multiple connectivity options including built-in compatibility with Behringer's Ultralink Wireless Microphones.
Both speakers feature Class-D power amps backed by SMPS (Switch Mode Power Supply) which is a lighter alternative to heavy transformers and heat sinks. This technology gives out higher outputs while staying cool and weighing less compared to regular active speakers. The B115D and the B115MP3 weighs in at 38 lbs.
The enclosure design lets you mount it horizontally for floor monitor wedge applications or have it pole mounted for PA use. Both speakers can be connected to professional PA systems and can work just as well for home party music or Karaoke sessions.
As for connectivity, both speakers come with an integrated sound processor and a two channel mixer. It has two combo jack inputs with two level controls and a 2-band Hi/low EQ knob. The speakers also feature quick compatibility with Behringer's Ultralink Series Wireless Microphones, a 2 channel receiver that works by simply plugging the mic receiver into the USB, reducing the number of wires needed for setup and setup time.
The main difference between the two speakers is the built-in MP3 player of Eurolive B115MP3, it can directly play audio files via the USB port. It has an 8-button user interface LCD panel which lets you instantly browse tracks and select shuffle, repeat or single-play modes.
The Behringer Eurolive B115D is currently retailing for $300, while the Eurolive B115MP3 is priced at $330. For more information, you can visit Behringer.
