Live And Unsigned 2012 Final

Live and Unsigned 2012 finalists are gearing up for the National Grand Final, scheduled on July 14, 2012 at The O2 Arena.

These finalists have won against 10,000 other acts from across the country to make to the final and culminating event.

The contestants are divided into popular music genres that include Rock, Indie / Alternative and finally Pop / Acoustic.

Winners of their respective categories will be awarded with Fret King Guitar endorsements, big festival slots, £15000 in recording studio time and finally the winners will be awarded music gear that with a combined value of up to £100,000. This includes Natal drum kits along with Blackstar and TC Electronic amps.

Finally, one ultimate winner will be awarded with a £10,000 cash prize, and is reserved a spot on a festival tour that spans 14 top summer festivals in the UK. This includes Leopallooza, Relentless Energy Drink Boardmasters, Strawberry Fields Festival, Brisfest, Glass Butter Beach, Sundown, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Brownstock, and five other summer festivals.

Chris Grayston, Events Director of Live & Unsigned, was quoted saying: "It's a fantastic achievement to make it to the Grand Final at The O2, one of the best music venues in the world. It will be a great day for all the acts performing, whether they win or not. Last year half a dozen acts were signed to both label and management companies, after representatives were invited as guests. I can't wait to see what the acts have got in store for us at the final it's going to be terrific!"

Aside from performances by contestants, the Live and Unsigned Grand Final will showcase guest performances by Hatty Keanne, Lucy Spraggan and 2010 Live and Unsigned winners - The Lottery Winners.

Celebrity judges were named to be BBC Radio 1's Ras Kwame, Kiss FM's Charlie Hedges, Kerrang Radio's Alex Baker and Mark Hill.
