Mackie unveils the DLM Series, a new line of 2000W powered loudspeakers that deliver big sounds at one-third the size of regular speakers.

Two full range speakers are currently available for the series - DLM8 (8" Powered Loudspeaker) and DLM12 (12" Powered Loudspeaker). The third member of the DLM Series is the DLM12S (12" Powred Subwoofer), a high output compact subwoofer.

These new speakers deliver 2000W of efficient Class-D power at one-third the size of traditional designs. This results in a powerful loudspeaker that is compact, and is easier to transport and setup.

The series is not just all muscles, the two full range speakers come with a good "brain" - featuring proprietary Mackie TruSource technology and comes with full-featured integrated digital mixer and processor. TruSource incorporates high-output woofer and 1.75" compression driver into a compact common-magnet design. The integrated digital mixer provides a dual-channel mixing solution with features like 3-band EQ, 16 effects and even system processing like multi-band feedback destroyer, six speaker modes and smart protect. This melding of power and technology gives this compact speaker audio fidelity found only on bigger and more expensive speakers. The DLM8 and DLM12 are protected by a rugged PC-ABS cabinet and powder-coated grille. It comes with an integrated kickstand for convenient personal monitor use.

The DLM12S covers the bottom end - packing 2000 watts of chest-pounding power into what Mackie considers as the highest-output compact sub on the market. The integrated DLP Digital Processor provides system processing tools like speaker modes for optimum voicing, a variable crossover, and system protection. It is housed inside a rugged 15mm poplar cabinet that is compact with a durable powder-coated grille. Finally, this subwoofer is ready for versatile mounting, thanks to its integrated pole-cup.
