Carvin and Ivan are no strangers to big hits, in fact, they have produced big hit songs for big name artists like Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, Musiq Soulchild, Jill Scott, Keyshia Cole and many more. The dynamic duo has seventeen Grammy nominations, six ASCAP Rhythm and Soul awards and have consistently produced at least one Top Ten hit for the past ten years!

Now, talented producers are given a chance to sit with them behind the boards to help them make their next big hit song. Carvin Haggins said, "We are looking for a producer that can take an idea and create a product at the end." The contest is Carvin and Ian's way of giving back, providing deserving producers the same opportunity that they were fortunate to have throughout their career.

The competition welcomes producers from all genres including Rock, Hip Hop, Country, R&B, Soul, Gospel and others. You can join as a solo producer or you can join as a production team. All you have to do to be in the running is to submit website links where the judges can listen to your produced music.

To make it more exciting, the contest is to be filmed as a reality-based talent competition/documentary series called "The Next Hit Music Producer". They will pick the top ten producers from the entries and film their actions as they compete for the top spot. Contestants will be eliminated until the last one standing remains.

The winner will get the chance to "learn the game" the way hit producers know it. Should you win, you will be taken under the wings of professionals, to help you better understand the role of music producers in modern music. Carvin and Ivan's team will take you to the next level of producing music, teaching you the insights on how to handle instruments as well as insider tips on what music production software they use, and how they use it. Obviously, the best part about winning is being signed to their production team.

Jenil Walker, co owner of B&J Entertainment, explains: "We believe that this program will put a new twist on ways of finding musical talent in all genres, with the spotlight on music producers. We truly believe this project will have a significant impact on the music as well as the reality series industry".

Betty Nicolas, the other co-owner of B&J Entertainment, was quoted saying: "The Next Hit Music Producer will show all the hard work and dedication that goes on behind the scenes in creating hit songs. This will also allow the aspiring producers to work with professional artists while they gain knowledge on how to establish themselves as great music producers."
