Shure SRH1840 and SRH1440 Open-Back Headphones

The SRH1840 and SRH1440 are the latest open-back headphones from Shure, featuring circumaural design and 40mm neodymium sound drivers.


Shure opted for the open-back design, giving both headphones a more natural speaker-like experience with wider natural stereo image and depth of field.

Since it is open-back, it will not distort your audio like closed-back headphones do, you will only hear your track, and not the sound of your headphones. This headphone also has a reasonably wide frequency response (15Hz-27kHz), which is more than enough for faithfully reproducing your mix or your favorite music.
