Behringer launches a global contest called The Next Level, giving away a Behringer X32 Digital Mixer to one lucky winner.

The Next Level Contest invites musicians, bands, singers and DJs to showcase their talents on video. The video is then shown to the world wide web and judged by music experts.

The contest will run until November 4, 2012, at which time the X32 Digital Mixer is awarded to the grand prize winner. This is Behringer's latest mixer which we previously featured here at Hitsquad. The runner-up will also receive a reward, a full P-16 Personal Monitor Starter System. Other participants will also receive consolation prizes that include T-shirts and other Behringer merchandise.

Uli Behringer, the founder and CEO of Music Group, said: "This one-of-a-kind contest is the perfect opportunity for aspiring artists to become the next big thing in the music industry. Since the start of our business I have always maintained a major goal to provide every musician with the products and tools to live their dreams and start a global career in music. We are thrilled to see how musicians use our products to produce and perform their music."

Musicians of all types can join by simply making a video of their music performance using Behringer products. The submitted entries will then be showcased in Behringer's YouTube channel for everyone. To judge the entries, Behringer will assemble a Panel of music industry professionals, they will pick the top contenders for the Grand Prize. The announcement and awarding of winners is scheduled on November 15, 2012.

Here are the contest rules set by Behringer:

• Minimum length: 1:30 minutes, Maximum length: 5:00 minutes.
• Videos must clearly feature at least one BEHRINGER product.
• Videos must include all-original content. Only include music that is your own.
• Avoid brand logos on things like t-shirts or background items, except BEHRINGER logos, of course!
• Videos must conform to YouTube and Facebook's terms of service and community standards.
