The new version has the same compact size and look but brings with it a wealth of new features that makes DJ mixing more convenient. It still gives you improved control over playback, browse, cue, sync and loop functions, and it now features a button for dedicated Flux mode access.

Headlining the new features are the touch-sensitive browse and loop encoders. Traktor Kontrol X1 MK2 also features a new multi-purpose Touchstrip that you can use for seeking, dropping and track nudging. It gives you tactile control over important aspects of your mixes, including your loops, effects and cues.

Another nifty upgrade introduced in MK2 are 7-segment displays and LEDs, which provide improved visual feedback when DJ'ing. RGB back-lit buttons that color match the cue point types makes monitoring your settings even more convenient, even in low light conditions.

When combined with Traktor Pro, the X1 MK2 quickly integrates and delivers plug-and-play control over 2 track decks and lets you assign two Traktor FX units – with or without the use of turntables or CDJs.

The new Traktor Kontrol X1 MK2 is now retailing worldwide or at the NI Online Shop for $229. To celebrate the release, all X1 buyers will receive a personal $50 delivered via email after registering the hardware. For more information, you can visit Native Instruments.
