Nero Express combines the top recording capabilities of the award-winning CD recording software, Nero, with a new user-friendly wizard that simplifies the CD and DVD recording process with the use of "mouse over direction". Whether you are a novice or a seasoned CDR/RW user; Nero Express is your total CD recording solution.

Nero Express supports virtually every CDR/RW and DVDR/RW drive imaginable and is compatible with new DVD standards ensuring the user top-quality recording every time. Nero Express allows new users to feel comfortable by having an effective wizard walk them through the process of recording audio, video and data CDs.

Nero's patent-pending Ultra-Buffer technology provides a level of software buffer protection and stability previously unseen and unheard of in CD/DVD recording software. Taking full advantage of this technology, Nero Express allows multi-tasking on older PC's where before it was virtually impossible without a system freeze or ruined disc.

In addition Nero Express also comes equipped with a speedy, high quality MPEG-1 encoder, converting video files on-the-fly to VCD format and allows users to comfortably create interactive menus with ease. An MPEG-2/SVCD encoder plug-in is available as an optional extra.

Nero Express includes the full-featured Nero Cover Designer (CD label and cover designing) and comes bundled with the packet writing solution InCD (including Windows XP, DVD-RW/DVD+RW and MT. Rainier Support) and the acclaimed Nero Toolkit (Nero CD Speed, the benchmark utility used by professionals and Nero DriveSpeed, the ultimate CD/DVD-Rom speed control utility).
