Glad to hear you like it! I wrote Guitar Tracks 2.0 with help from other engineers at Cakewalk... Anyway, to answer your question: Effects can be added non-destructively in real-time against recorded tracks, but not against live input. No application has managed to get directX plug-ins to operate on live input yet, but that will be something Cakewalk will be working on. For now, you can record your tracks clean and then apply the effects afterward, just like they do in the Pro studios. -- Jamie
