By Geoff Nicholson Maxim releases Drum Synth version 2.0. ...Continued Build your drum sounds Version 2.0 features new kits, resonant filter and new "808 cymbal" mode. The program makes sounds out of swept-frequency sine waves, noise bands, pink and white noise and complex waveforms. It can produce the sounds from analog drum machines or make new drums, pitched sounds and sound effects! Download link: http://www.abel.co.uk/~maxim/files/drumsyn.zip Make sure that you "Use Folder Names" when unzipping to expand each kit into a subdirectory. Requires Windows 95 / 98 / 2000 / NT, and needs MSVBVM50.DLL in your \windows\system folder (you probably have it already).
