Mac Raving is getting a little bit tired, I have a PC and if you know something about setting up computers and tweaking your operating system they work extremely well. The problem is the processor, not the PC, Pentium III or higher is recommended, most audio/video software available for the PC is written for use around the Intel Pentium Processors. You can't even get a quarter of the cool audio software written today, the only thing Mac has going for it is Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools and a hefty price tag... Cheers
