Reason: CPU monster?

Reason can certainly boast numerous glowing qualities; high quality sound, expansive library, Propellerheads' support, etc.

Still, I'm running it through my 450 K6 with 160 megs RAM, and damn if it doesn't bog down the CPU. With only a few units in the rack, all is fine, but it quickly turns into an audio nightmare after adding that one extra synth (as we know, that one extra synth can make all the difference). I can't imagine what it would run like with minimum requirements, or that it would even run at all. It is important for a prog to not only be expansive and interesting, but practical in its requirements to run as well.

Bottom line, a fine piece of prog, but the intense CPU requirements leaves those of us without the latest supercomputer to wallow in scratchy, crunchy audio hell.
