As for Reason being 16 bit, that's not entirely true! Reason 1.0 uses 32 bit internal processing and will resolve at the depth of your card. If you have a Delta 66 and have it configured to 96 then you can do 24 bit/96. The sampler in Reason does only work at 16 bit though. That much is true.
